Actually, this wrapper is also recommended by Miguel de Icaza (the author of Mono), although he himself developed something like this :
If you need classic ML algorithms (SVM, KNN, etc.) you can try the old but working Accord.NET Framework . The site has ready-made compiled examples - you can see how the framework is used in different tasks. In terms of functionality, it is somewhat reminiscent of OpenCV. Unfortunately, the author abandoned the development around 2017
