Are materials compatible with version 4/5?

Good day.
Actually, I finally got to learning laravel. As everyone knows, in early February, the 5th version of this framework was released. Since the 5th branch is relatively young and there are not particularly video lessons and / or interactive courses for it, however, there are enough of them for the 4th version.
In this regard, I have a question, is it worth watching / reading the material on the 4th branch? How relevant will it be for the 5th? My goal with Laravel right now is to get a basic understanding of this framework.
I saw a topic about materials on Laravel from Toaster, and just after viewing it, this question arose.

Yes, for the most part, nothing has seriously changed, especially since the fifth version was planned as 4.3. After reading the doc on the 5th version, it will be clear how to adapt the examples from the 4th.
