Are laptop adapters suitable for eGPU EXP GDC?

Can it be powered via DC 12v using an external laptop type adapter? If so, is there a list of compatible ones somewhere? It would be absolutely cool if the adapter came straight from the laptop itself, then you can already take it on the road.

Notebook ones - most likely not (you are unlikely to find a 12 volt power supply among them, there are usually much more). But there are quite suitable ones among those from which LED strips are powered. Many of them look like laptops. Just do not miss with the current / power - there must be a margin of 15 ... 30% for this parameter, otherwise this PSU will not work for a long time.
