Are free hostings 000webhost and .biz good for SEO in RuNet?

Someone says that free hosting is no worse for search results than any other, someone strongly advises paying attention to .ru and .rf domains for promotion in RuNet. Does anyone have a specific experience where using free hosting (especially interesting 000webhost.com) somehow affected search results?
I have already come to the conclusion that it is imperative to take a .ru domain and .com, .su will not take off in the same way. Maybe in vain I have it. Such a conclusion?

this happened with narod.ru 20 years ago, before Yukoz and in general
now freehosts on subdomains instantly get dirty, it’s good if they don’t send spam
