Are DNS lookups performed on subsequent site page loads?
Testing the accessibility of the site from different parts of the world. I noticed that a significant percentage of the time in the total download time is DNS lookup.
As I understand it, this happens during the initial access to the site from a client where the required DNS was not cached. Will the subsequent page loads of the site perform a DNS lookup (as on the first visit), or will it no longer take time to determine it?
