Hello everyone, I wanted to know whether it is realistic to get a job as a programmer after working as a tester? There are rumors that after testing it is difficult to get a job as a programmer, is that so?

And why actually not? There are people who retrained from economists to programmers and found work.
I worked as a php programmer, and when I moved to another language and technology stack, I also faced a number of difficulties. They did not want to take it, but employers offered PHP.

You didn't get scammed buddy. It's like from rags to riches - hard, but quite real. I can recommend taking care of Selenium with Python (I hope you know what it is), and then dance from Python in any direction you like, even in the backend, even in full stack. Everything depends on you. Good luck.
