App Store thinks XCode is installed when it isn't

Moved XCode from one apple id to another. On the old id, XCode retired. When I tried to install it on a new one, the “Installing” sign appeared under the application, but neither the launchpad icon nor the application appeared in Applications. After restarting the App Store, the sign changed to "Installed", which he now insists on.

How to convince the App Store to download XCode? Google does not suggest anything suitable.

As an option at random, look at what outputs (if outputs) in the console
xcode-select --print-path
