App starts and closes immediately

There was a problem with the application: it first starts, appears in the process tree, and then immediately disappears, disappears from the list of processes and that's it. Before that, it worked until the build was updated. The same build on the computer of the program assembler (and his netbook) works fine.

Where to dig?

What is the name of the application? Has it been hacked? Is a firewall worth it?
I observed such a situation with outpost installed, it unloads some programs. And disabling and uninstalling it does not help. Outpost during installation changes something in the system, as they say in the help, they close some holes.

What operating system do you have installed, probably because of UAC!!! Try running the program as Administrator.

Try to add the program to the DEP exceptions or disable it. In general, procmon, as already written here.

There was exactly the same problem. Some applications crashed immediately after launch, without any errors.
And I didn’t notice any pattern, photoshop 32 bit crashes, but 64 doesn’t. doxywizard crashes, other similar editors don't. I tried about 5 video converters - they all crash, but normal video editors (vegas, AE) do not ...
It turned out that the driver of the Chinese drawing tablet (bosto) failed. Removed it and everything worked.

Faced the same problem. The issue was resolved by enabling UAC (it was disabled).

Start --> Shutdown (while holding the Shift key)
It worked for me, the problematic program starts again.
