Mobile app development and web programming - is it possible to combine?

I apologize in advance for the strange question. I am new to programming in general.
The conditions are as follows: there is a head on his shoulders, a desire to program. To begin with, I got a little familiar with c ++ - I got a sincere pleasure from coding.
Problem: I would like to learn mobile app development. I decided to focus specifically on this area, since I read that it is extremely promising in terms of freelance earnings (on various forums and from familiar programmers, I heard that web development is inferior in this parameter). But! I would also like to learn how to make websites, protect them from hacking, etc. - I have a number of hobbies - and I would enjoy creating high-quality (!) Websites to promote these hobbies, administer them, etc. Those. I would like to earn money on the development of mobile applications, and in parallel, for myself - to make high-quality (high-quality - I don’t want to make a “blunder”) sites and follow them. As a result, I have questions:
1. Can a person specialize in both areas at once - web development and mobile application development? Or is it better to choose one?
2. If it is possible to specialize in both mobile development and web development, is it easy to do this (do these areas closely intersect, is it possible to use the same languages (what?), the same skills (what?)) - either the areas are not so closely related, and trying to learn two areas of programming at once will require a lot of additional effort?
Thanks for the replies.

There are many "intersecting" areas between these spheres, but also a lot of things specific to one of them.
From personal experience: I know developers who are equally savvy in both web (backend) and mobile development. But, I would say that if these people concentrated on one area, and not on two, they would become gurus. And now - the average good developer.
It will not work to combine this in one stack of technologies and solutions.
Having the same orientation in two stacks is quite a possible option. It all comes down to experience and the amount of time spent.
Again, there are people who learn quickly. For them, a stack of technologies and a set of libraries are nothing more than a tool, and it is very easy for them to switch from one to another. I sat down, figured it out in a month or two and everything is fine.
There are people who find it hard to switch between specifics even within the same platform (or even a stack). For them, this is "learning to program from scratch", and not "read, understood the features, googled the necessary libraries, understood how it works."
The question is that at some point it may be _profitable_ for you (in terms of interest, time, money or resources) to concentrate on one of the areas (applications), and give the web to a partner / colleague / freelancer / employee.
Simply because there will be more benefits.

You can combine everything and nothing. It all depends on the person.
