Apache + nginx how to check the work?

first time put nginx to apache. Everything seems to be working, but there are doubts whether apache is working? I don’t know how to check, how can I check to make sure it works with
apache

/var/log/httpd or /var/log/apache2
look in the logs to see if there are calls to it
