How to properly configure nginx proxy?

At first I thought I did the right thing, but I was wrong.
How can I make it serve html files to nginx ? And the nodeJS script was through a proxy.

server {
        listen       127.0.0.1:80;
        server_name  localhost;

        #charset koi8-r;

        #access_log  logs/host.access.log  main;

        location ^~/f/ {
            root   html;
            index  index.html index.htm;
        }

    location / {
        proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:3000;
        proxy_set_header Host $host;
    }

So that NodeJS does not give HTML, but only the server script works.

server {
  listen 80;
  server_name localhost;

  location ~ \.html$ {
    root   html;
    index  index.html index.htm;
  }
  location / {
    proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:3000;
    proxy_set_header Host $host;
  }
}

There are two locations here. The first handles all uris ending in .html, the second handles everything else.
As root in the first location, you must specify the directory where the html files are located.
It's strange that you have it listen 127.0.0.1:80, so you can't go in from outside.
