Antenna on WiMAX modem via u.fl, will it work?

The speed of WiMAX Internet at home is not encouraging, up to 3Mbps, although in the city it squeezes out 14Mbps. If you attach a modem to an aluminum hood in the kitchen, then the speed increases to 5Mbps. Therefore, I decided to fasten a small external antenna to the modem.

There are two u.fl connectors on the modem under the rubber bands (photo is clickable) The WiFi module is connected separately on the other side, through another connector On Ebay, pigtail + antenna kits 5-12dBi are sold, though for WiFi. Will the antenna work if connected through the existing two u.fl connectors? How can I find out which connector to connect to or do I need to connect 2 antennas? Will a 2.4GHz - 2.5GHz WiFi antenna improve a WiMAX 3.5GHz signal?

The antenna must be taken for WiMax, the WiFi kit is useless.

I bought a cheap 15 cm antenna, sort of like for the frequencies I needed (WiMax can be different) and plugged it into the signed Ct connector. The signal began to be caught much better, and most importantly, more stable.
I can’t tell the numbers, the antenna is in the country. I remember that the speed became 5-8Mbps, which is quite enough compared to the unstable 3Mbps without an antenna.
