Android studio on Mac mini does not see connected android devices. What to do?

exeq tablet freezes when connected, Lenovo smartphone is simply ignored... I don't know what to do... How to debug android applications on my Mac mini..?
One friend expressed the idea that some kind of driver is missing.
The only solution I see so far is to get a second computer for android development...
