Android Studio "Blocked by Play Protect.." How to bypass?
Good afternoon, I'm new to Android Studio, I tried to build my first application into a signed APK file, generated a key, filled in the first name, last name, address ... in general, all the fields are as it should be. Then I renamed the file to the name of my application in Latin letters, uploaded it to Yandex disk, but when I installed the application on my smartphone, I received a warning: "Blocked by Play Protection. Play protection could not find information about the developer. Applications from unknown developers may be unsafe." Of course, I can click "Install anyway", but the point is that the other person will think that there is a virus and will not install it. Why is this happening? Is it because I haven't uploaded the application to Google Play, or have I assembled/signed it incorrectly somehow? What if I don't want to distribute the application through Google Play, but I want to just give the opportunity to download on my site. How to get around this problem?

There is no problem, everything is as it should be.
"Blocked by Play Protection. Play Protection could not find developer information. Apps from unknown developers may be unsafe." - the absolute truth.
Nowhere is it said that this is a virus, Google does not know you, does not know your application, and exactly informs the user about it.
It's because I didn't upload the app to Google Play.
but I want to just give the opportunity to download on my site. How to get around this problem?
Do not rush to google play, practice at https://store.yandex.ru/
If the application is free, then look at https://f-droid.org/

This is the correct formal defense against newbie software. Not all of them are well-intentioned and in this case the warning is correct. Preventive. It's better than antivirus. By the way, Eugene Kaspersky also spoke about this in one of his interviews. He believes that the future lies in the total digital signature and certification of any binaries.
