Android OS swears at SSL certificate?

Please help me figure it out.
There is a VDS server with CentOS installed on it. An ssl certificate signed by RapidSSL CA (an upstream GeoTrust Global CA) is attached to this server.
When I go to this server from a computer (firefox, chrome, opera and other browsers), everything is fine, the certificate is reliable.
But if I go from Android (any browser), then the browsers say that the certificate was received from an untrusted certificate authority.
What can be here? Where to dig?
Maybe you need to do some additional settings for the server?
A similar question has already been on this site, but there is no complete and accurate answer there, so I apologize for the repetition.

@kostarus61

the root certificates on your phone are rotten. Check.
