I specifically looked for all sorts of x86 (_x64) emulators - I didn’t see anything like that. I will subscribe for the company, but I doubt that there will be answers on the merits. I think at best you will be reminded of MEmu, NoxPlayer, Genimotion class emulators, maybe there is something else like that. they can have pretty decent lists of emulated devices, but it's just a change in screen resolution, and at best some stuff like runtime variables that reassure the software that "I'm such a tablet or smart". it is possible to change the available features, such as emulation of certain sensors. but there is no talk of any firmware and close. all java-based software works more or less decently on them, but not on the NDK (the binary code of the platform, written for example in C ++). Well, to me personally, they all seemed very unstable.
if necessary, I prefer to raise android on a virtual machine. something from the Andriod x86 project, or even better Bliss. of the shortcomings - there is no clipboard forwarding. but not commensurately more stable than all of the above "emulators". and don't mess with the system. live strictly in a virtual machine
the essence of the problem - if you want to try firmware for real phones, in essence you need an ARM software emulator, with different ones, and even with emulation of different graphic chips. not that it's impossible. but I doubt very much that such a product entered the market at all
for comparison - Microsoft has created a version of Windos 10 for ARM. and not that in the first Windows on ARM. 8ku just also tried. but in this 10k, the real-time jit-compilation of x86/x64 of ordinary Widows desktop applications has been running in for more than a year. announcements and presentations sea. in the corporation itself, a number of employees have been using prototypes for at least a year. but the real product is still not released to the market. by the fact that all this is not as simple as we would like
ps here colleague Vladimir Korotenko , invites you to try out the emulator from Google. perhaps this is one of the highest quality emulators for developers. however, firmware cannot be loaded into it. there are a number of other restrictions. if interested, see the comments under the answer Vladimir Korotenko .
