Android development, how to be?

I do not know OOP at all, but I want to try to develop some applications for myself.
- Is it possible without programming skills?
- What would you recommend for further study (I mean, how to say "understand all the salt" so to speak)?

Resource with Android lessons - startandroid.ru
Just start - the first lessons are clicked in 3-10 minutes. By the third ten, you will begin to skip the uninteresting ones. By the fifth, your hands will itch to file your project.

You need to know at least the basics of Java and Android development.
Look here: developer.alexanderklimov.ru/android
and to understand the whole point - come up with an idea for an application and try to bring it to life.

Just sit down and write an android application without Java knowledge and Android development will not work. It is quite possible to study development for android without programming skills from scratch.

Everything will work out, it's a matter of time and effort, read my answer to the same question here:

@Steely

In a week and a half, I wrote an application from scratch. I read manuals, watched videos on youtube. Even published already.
But I have PHP programming experience.
In another week, I wrote an application for iOS - also from scratch.
In principle, nothing complicated, I advise you to open youtube and watch the manuals (almost none in Russian, only in English). Divide the big task into small ones and move on. For example, I needed to make a menu, I wrote "Android menu tutorial" and so on.
