Android Developer or Web Developer?

There is a great demand in web development, many competitors (one out of 40 is selected), income level is lower than android development, the entry threshold is minimal.
In android development, there is little demand, there are practically no competitors, higher incomes than web development, the entry threshold is higher than on the web.
If I'm wrong then correct me.
The question is, where is it easier to get a job as a junior? Androyd development is very interesting, but I understand that there are practically no asks for android developers, it will be very difficult to get a job as a junior

Android Developer or Web Developer?
definitely Android, because
many competitors (one out of 40 is selected), income level is lower than android development, the entry threshold is minimal.

The question is, where is it easier to get a job as a junior?
The question is not correct.
We must ask this: is it worth going into web macaques and replenishing the industry with the same average people with whom the market will soon be crammed?
Definitely - no.

There is a great demand in web development, many competitors (one out of 40 is selected), income level is lower than android development, the entry threshold is minimal.

This thesis is already very controversial, because everything depends very much on the skill level stack.
As I understand it, by a web developer you mean an html + css + jquery non-developer and a php backender or some kind of CMS like WP. Yes, they earn less than an android developer.
In android development, there is little demand, there are practically no competitors, income is higher than web development, the entry threshold is higher than on the web.

The demand is sufficient to find a job. The entry threshold is indeed much higher than in the "Web developer" example a couple of lines above.
The question is, where is it easier to get a job as a junior?

It seems to me that the web is much easier, since the initial level of knowledge is required less, and the number of vacancies is greater.
In the case of android development, you can write your own application and try to make money on it, in principle.
nb: Web development is a terribly broad concept and you should clarify the direction and stack.

The threshold for entering the android is less, put the android studio and rivet on java.
In the web of technologies, it’s dofiga and often you need to know different
Competitions, and I still don’t see how many times I offered fellow programmers to work at least briefly at a good price tag, that javaists, that webers always refuse, they say too many customers and work.
Since you get a job as a junior once in a lifetime, it’s easy everywhere
. I have two types of friends, those who get a job within a week, regardless of the initial data, and those who get a job for months and cannot, in general, this has nothing to do with their professions, this you just either get a job or you don't, there's always a lot of work

Also interested in this question. Indeed, if you look then there are too many web developers on the market. And there are not so many companies that need a serious site with bells and whistles. Because it's expensive. And it turns out that 1000 web specialists for 1 serious project. There is probably even more competition in freelancing, as customers want cheap and an Amazon-style project. There are a lot of people who want to do it cheaply or even for free. In order to either gain experience or get feedback on the freelance exchange.
On the other hand, mobile development. There are fewer vacancies, but the requirements are also, as it were, less than the web. It really takes experience. Regarding the requirements, the web needs a minimum of html + css + js and frameworks. For mobile, you can start with Flutter, since it is new, then the requirements for it will be less. But it seems to me that making an application is more difficult than making a web one. Well, so that it does not eat up the phone's memory. You also need to constantly update as Android is constantly changing. The application should still work fine on all versions of android. On the one hand, there is no all this web garbage (js, react, nod, php, sql), but on the other hand, it is difficult to do. In addition, it is necessary that more applications get into Google Place.
Another thing that confuses the mobile is that an ordinary user on the phone uses popular applications (browser, social networks) and will not install 100 extra programs on the phone. Therefore, this limits the meaning of mobile development. All the same, the site is available on any device than a mobile app.
