Android - design, layout. How right?
I am a developer.
For html, I'm used to the fact that the designer coordinates the design with the customer, then
a). they pass it to the coder and they give me the templates from which I assemble the application
b). they give a design with content fixed in width, and I use it to layout as similar as possible
. On Android, they give me a consistent design for conditional resolution.
a). I am given ready-made forms agreed with the customer
b). in terms of design, I draw shapes as close as possible and then adjust them to reality.
But there was a question.
- how to do it correctly under Android?
- in what resolution should the designer issue?
- what should be in the design (dimensions, indents, etc.)?
- Is it worth demanding not design, but drafted and agreed forms for development?

1) Approximately as you described
2) At the maximum for your application, then you yourself distill into other formats (mdpi / hdpi / xhdpi / etc.), or ask the designer to cut it in different resolutions. Well, or a vector.
3) Everything should be good (sizes, colors, gifs with animations, if any). A good designer will provide you with maximum information about layout. But unfortunately this is often not the case and has to be adjusted by eye. Often designers don’t even give a cut, only a layout.
4) It is worth demanding at least cutting and layouts (including for different orientations).
