Android and Google System Groups?
SGS II, latest firmware (Android 2.3.5). Google contacts sync enabled. In the list of groups in the standard Contacts application, there are four groups that are labeled as "Google System Group": Colleagues, Family, Friends, My Contacts. My contacts are clear and I have (almost) nothing against them. But the other three are terribly enraged.
The problem is that:
1. These groups do not exist in Google. Generally. Nowhere. They are only on the phone, and gmail contacts added to them do not change in any way and do not belong to any group.
2. These groups cannot be deleted.
3. And, most importantly, these groups cannot be removed from the list!
Q: How do I get rid of this annoying junk on my phone?
