Android 64bit - is a special build of the app required?

After purchasing HTC One M8s, which has a 64-bit processor, I decided to test the developed application on it, and after launching it closes with an error. Moreover, it doesn’t even start up to the end, since the message from onCreate is not displayed.
Tell me, do you need to somehow build an application for such devices in a special way?
The application also uses the ZBar library to scan a barcode. Perhaps the library is not compatible?
How to fix this, or what to replace the library with?

I figured it out, it turned out that it's just that on this device the camera resolution is the maximum for the preview of 1920 by 1080, but if the width and height are swapped, the application crashes. The libraries themselves did not affect the 64 bit processor
