And where can you program in binary and hexadecimal systems?

There are different compilers, etc. And where are the programs for binary and hexadecimal systems to program on them? I just don’t understand how they programmed for a calculator in the 50s on these systems (with what help did they write it there?) And how can this be done (write and shove it now? I know there are programmers, but for a computer, let’s write a thread in a binary system or hexadecimal, how to activate it?)
