And what is it that all my chrome-like browsers have stopped working since yesterday?
torch was updated and refused to start. the last vivaldi throws out "The procedure entry point ReleaseSRWLockExclusive was not found in the DLL KERNEL32.dll". Tried on two computers not connected to each other in a network. The torch log constantly throws 3 errors:
"Dependent collection 47.0.0.11536 cannot be found, last error The specified collection is not installed on the system."
"Resolve Partial Assembly failed for 47.0.0.11536. Corresponding error message: The specified assembly is not installed on the system."
"Generate Activation Context failed for %appdata%\Torch\Application\torch.exe. Associated error message: Operation completed successfully."
Torch itself, when trying to run it on two different computers, issues "The entry point to the GetThreadId procedure was not found in the DLL KERNEL32.dll library." I suspect that the developers have changed something drastically, but what exactly?

Apparently the key word here is MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP
. Probably, the update made an edit that is incompatible with this unsupported OS.
