Analog Volume2 for Linux?

Once I discovered Volume2 for Windows after I got used to adjusting the volume with the mouse wheel on Linux. Now I would like a little more for Linux, I mainly use Mint Cinnamon.
The point is that it works not when you hover over the volume icon, but anywhere in the bottom panel, as in Volume2 Windows.

in Gnome 3, as in Ubuntu Unity, this behavior immediately.
probably for Cinnamon there is some kind of solution on their own resource.
