Analog htmlacademy for designers?

Guys, tell me if there are any free design analogues like htmlacademy with all sorts of quests/types/tasks/questionnaires
Everything that I found was either paid and not understandable or from the series "landocica design 2 hours before uber-pro"
I want to reinforce the skill-list with design , for a couple of years of development, I caught up with the design but ran into a lack of theory for some fundamental features with colors / typography.

The design is more complicated, yes. I won’t tell you free, but here the knowledge is enough to cover the base and even more, these are definitely not shit courses - tilda.education/courses/web-design

Reading about academic design is incredibly boring.
And the design is not as deterministic as the code. This is in a line of code, if you do not put a semicolon, there will be an error, and in the design, if you make a button of a different shade, nothing will break. This is both good and bad at the same time.
In short, don't bother with this nonsense. Like design - draw.

There is nothing better than reading books. The task of the people organizing the courses is to cut down more dough for you, but get rid of you as quickly as possible. They do not have a task to prepare a really suitable specialist and never will. Firstly, this is the time, and the courses are usually very tight, which is called a "gallop across Europe", and secondly, they simply do not want to create competition for themselves, because if you learn normally, it is likely that you will transfer your skills to someone else, and then you will open your courses or a blog with free lessons. If you still have not changed your mind, then private lessons are better. Look for a teacher. Learning will be easier. Ask your teacher if you don't understand something.
If you deal with books, then it is quite possible to start with this one .
