An inexpensive solution for non-car navigation?

I want to take some inexpensive smartphone with GPS to use on the bike and on foot, in addition to or even instead of a regular phone.
I see two options now:
1. something, most likely used, based on Windows Mobile,
2. a budget device on the S60, like the Nokia 5230.
But there are doubts about the suitability of both for this application.
It is important, perhaps, that the batteries last more than two hours, resistance to shaking, and a display so that at least something can be disassembled in the sun. But water resistance is not important to me at all.

I carry an old Glofiish X500+ (VGA screen). I bought it with a dead telephone module for 2000 rubles (it does not see the GSM network, but everything else, including WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS, works fine). I flashed Windows Mobile 6, Navitel, Ozi and tracker for navigation. Very satisfied, no problems with maps (Nokia), available navigation software, quite versatile. The screen is bright, but at maximum brightness it kills the battery quickly.

if an option is possible in addition to the phone, then I would probably use it. GPS almost always eats up the battery quite actively, so the option with a separate device will not leave you without communication at the wrong time.

The ancient HTC Artemis with the included navigator sits down in 4 hours.
