An example of a distributed database where the connection between the server and the hosted data is not obvious?
Can you suggest an example of a system where the use of a distributed database would be effective .
At the same time, to:
1. The binding of specific data to a specific server was not obvious
. For example, in the patient database of a large network of clinics with branches in many cities, the binding is obvious, because it is most efficient to store data about a Murmansk patient on a Murmansk server, and not on a Ryazan one.
2. Servers must be remote from each other so that the time of information transfer between them is at least a little significant.
An example described in a couple of words is enough for me. For example, the database of a company engaged in something that stores such and such information;)
What is needed? In my graduation project, I want to explore methods for finding the optimal placement of information on distributed database servers. And for this I want to find an example more or less close to life.
Thank you!
