An empty file on a flash drive?

Got a virus. There is one empty file on the flash drive. I am facing this for the first time. Neither batch file with attributes of hidden files, nor cureit, nor chkdsk, nor the "show hidden files" checkbox, nor antiviruses helped to remove the virus and restore files. Has anyone experienced something similar?
