I would advise you to look for news about the release of Qt4.0, there is probably a detailed description of why Qt4 is better. In general: Qt4 is faster, Qt4 is more functional, Qt4 has a normal port to Windows, Qt4 is much more cross-platform, Qt4 is developing, and even bugs do not rule in Qt3.
