An analogue of Evernote - we store code snippets by category?
Good afternoon. I am a novice programmer, and until certain knowledge is deposited in my memory, it is important for me to store the solutions I found for certain tasks for their further use in training and work. Tell me, is there an analogue of Evernote or similar note / notebook services in which you can conveniently store code?
At one time I looked in the direction of Github, but everything is still difficult for me there - I didn’t figure out right away what, how and where, can there be something simpler? Thanks for the answer

Under OS X, there are a couple of nice applications that solve your problem:
As an option, a simple "cloud" solution - GistBox
Good day to you too, OKyJIucT. I'm not a beginner programmer, but this problem has not been completely solved for me either. I have also been looking for a kind of WIKI for a long time, but with the ability to store snippets and comment on them. like here . And to be able to keep records in markdown, since wiki markup has not taken root very well, and from markdown I can generate divine pdfs. I've asked questions to people from big companies, but they either use a wiki-like system or some kind of enterprise monster. Unfortunately, I can't find the time to write it myself. How I get out: Evernote - either breaks the code, or knocks down its formatting, therefore it disappeared immediately. Thanks to Bobuk, I learned about the existence of Hackpad . I use it as a "sump" for snippets. Example. Pay attention to the fact that the navigation menu for the document, which is on the left, is generated automatically. The same goal is served by Gist, but the lifetime on Gist is usually shorter. And what is already being folded into logically completed blocks - on GitHub or BitBucket.
Under OS X, there is also Dash . It also works as a manual browser. Catch another link to my toolkit , maybe it will come in handy
