AMD Ryzen 7 2700 or Intel Core i7 8700?

Which of the two is more reliable, faster?
I won’t wait for a new series of ryzen until the fall, there are discounts for 2700 now .. But for some reason there is more trust in Intel.
PC tasks - work in a graph. editors, a little game, but not as the main goal, photoshop and similar programs.
Video card will be GTX 1660 6GB.
Which of the two do you recommend?

A normal person will not feel the difference in daily activities, it makes no sense to overpay for the sake of a few percent in the benchmark.
