Amazon EC2 free tier - what are the chances of losing data?
Hi all.
I want to ask a question about EC2 free tier (micro).
Everywhere in the description it says that at any time my volumes can disappear and none of my data will be saved (use S3 for data).
But now how many works - everything is in place. Registered not so long ago, launched 3 servers, so far everything is perfect.
Tell real experience, what are the risks of data loss? What does experience say?

It always seemed to me that all free tier microinstances are EBS-based, and EBS will not go anywhere even when the instance is turned off / rebooted ...
Where did you read this?
Before you get Free Tier, you are validated. So you have a full-fledged account, but they also give you a few free goodies. If ephemeral storage is not used, then you have the same guarantees as for all EBS.
PS You pay money for the data stored on EBS if you do not fit into the quotas. Nothing just goes missing.
In addition, you say that you have launched 3 instances, which should no longer be included in the free limits.
