Amateur BitCoin mining - is the game worth the candle?

In principle, you can set it to thresh at night (during the day it is not desirable for the same server to puff heavily - it is in the working room, the noise will interfere with people). There was a logical (for those who did not understand) the idea to set the threshing of bitcoins. The question is - can you squeeze a couple of hundred bucks for a beer at least for a month?

There is no point in mining on processors, do not torture the hardware. But on AMD video cards from the 5 *** series and above, it is quite profitable. Do not listen to scarecrows about a halving of emission, for a miner, only his hashrate, BTC cost and complexity are important in essence. This is where all the other calculations come from.

I don't think it makes sense anymore. I didn't follow the development of bitcoin, but I was mining two years ago. Then, for 2 months of continuous mining, I did not remember how many bitcoins, but a little more than 8 thousand rubles. Selling something around $20 for bitcoin, i.e. about 14 bitcoins. Mining at 5850, the speed was about 450 megahash per second.

There will be no "a couple of hundred bucks" a month, a dead idea. Previously, the top Radeons that were taken for mining paid off, now it seems to be already and it does not pay off. Mining with the help of the CPU generally gives meager performance, compared to vidyahi.
