I have one bug in chrome that normally I can't copy-paste the classpath through devTools. and it appeared only after the last update of chrome.
Tobish if you select a path - click on ctrl (for copy-paste) - and move the mouse a little - the selection disappears.

incredibly annoying(

Do you have this problem on all sites? Have you tried it in incognito (without running extensions)?
I had similar problems on sites where the DOM tree was updated several times per second by scripts. As a result, the contents of the developer tools were constantly updated and this made it difficult to copy, add, and edit styles. It was annoying too.
I have version 54.0.2840.71 (64-bit) and everything is fine.
