Algorithm games

When I was studying computer science at school, we had an educational game (under dos), where a snake ate hares. Moreover, it was necessary to describe its movement by compiling some kind of algorithm of actions ... I don’t remember more details, but I remember that it was very captivating, and, in fact, developed the thinking necessary for a programmer.

Tell me, if not this one, then some similar game where you could describe some algorithms (maybe in some pseudo language).

And if there was something for android too...

I want to try to retrain an adult into a programmer :)

In addition to the options offered by OnScript , there is also Cucaracha . It is quite simple, but for that in Russian. And the syntax of the language was in Russian, if my memory serves me right. I think for an adult it will be the most it.
In the game, you need to program a cockroach that runs around 2D / 3D space and moves cubes with letters, making up words ... In general, the very basics.
I, on courses in our city, started with Kukarachi.

Another interesting game is SpaceChem. It's not quite the usual programming. It is necessary to place teams in the cells on a flat field. Some manipulator moves across the field, obeying commands and takes/releases atoms. It is necessary to collect certain molecules from atoms. It develops not only an algorithmic way of thinking, but also imagination and memory.
