After upgrading from 12.04 to 14.04, the fonts have deteriorated - how to return?

Good afternoon.
Updated Ubuntu 12.04 to 14.04. However, the fonts that the system has installed annoy me (or this is some kind of reconfiguration of their display). In particular - console and system.
Old variant:

New variant:

How to return the old display of fonts?
Thanks

The old one looks like Monospace.
Or Ubuntu (there is a font with that name).
