After removing duplicates in Google, positions fell sharply, will they rise?

The site had duplicates, I hid them from indexing on the recommendation of Yandex Webmaster.
Yandex approved everything, the traffic is in order.
Before the closure of the indexing of duplicates, Google probably gave out duplicates as a priority in the search results. Now there are no duplicates, only originals. But the traffic fell twice.
The question is whether traffic will rise on Google with new urls (the original url, not a duplicate) or return the old duplicates for Google?
