After I installed the new nvidia 331 driver, the settings for tty1..tty6 flew off. How to return them?

How to return settings for tty?
Am I right to look at /boot/grub/grub.cfg? Because /etc/X11/xorg.conf is loaded after /boot/grub/grub.cfg
