Experienced layout designers and webmasters. Please tell me what are the advantages and disadvantages of using Google Fonts . I have the opportunity to use fonts from hosting or from their service. Which is better for site loading speed and SEO?

It is better to load all resources (not just fonts) from your hosting and cache on the client side. Then you will be sure that while everything works on your hosting - the fonts will not suddenly fly off.
It doesn't affect SEO in any way.

Regarding SEO, I have not heard anything about this)) It has nothing to do with google fonts. As for the minuses - google has a sufficient number of jagged fonts, so you need to look every time if your font is not with a jamb (compare with the layout from the designer and with what you get in the layout, if with a jamb - connect it manually from the server) .
