Advantages and disadvantages of FeeNAS 12? Installation process? How to store data on disk?
1. What size can I use an installation flash drive or, in other words, is an 8 GB flash drive suitable, or do I need 16?
2. 8 GB of RAM is minimally welcome, does the speed of work increase with an increase in RAM? Who tried.
3. During the initial installation (not an upgrade!) is there any danger of losing data on the disks? (Is there somewhere they offer to clean the disks?)
4 Who has already used it, it's better than 12th than 11.3. How? (maybe a link to materials, articles on the net) On the site of the developers they say that the 12th is better for beginners.
5 Is it Russified or English?
Thank you!

Now they (ixsystems) advise not a flash drive, but a disk (hdd, ssd) from 8 GB.
The more operatives, the better (ECC is strongly advised, it's understandable) - it is used for ARC
It has been updated sequentially since version 9, the flight is normal! (but the new interface is sometimes buggy, my reporting section does not always open adequately)
Exclusively in English. Translations are clumsy.
Another question: If I make a new version 12 bootloader and try to work with it, can I then boot from the old 11.3 version and go back and continue working with the old version? Regarding booting from a disk, all the disk connectors on the motherboard are occupied by the HDD, pci express is also busy, only USB remains. Therefore, the system takes a long time to boot.
