Plans to make a grinder. Confused about the speed control.
There will be an asynchronous motor, a triangle, through a 220V capacitor.
Is it possible to include a triac power regulator in the circuit to reduce speed? Will work?

There is no frequency converter, it is expensive to buy for infrequent garage use ...
