Adding Yandex maps increases the apk size from 5 to 40 megabytes, how can I reduce it?

When I add the Yandex.maps lite library (implementation 'com.yandex.android:maps.mobile:4.0.0-lite'), the apk size increases from 5 to 40 megabytes. Is that how it should be? I only need a map, so I use the lite version, but the volume still increases greatly.
