Add shortcut to KDE4 desktop from bash script

Good afternoon.

Please tell me how to add a launch shortcut to the KDE4 desktop from a bash script.
You also need to add a shortcut to the KDE4 menu.

Those. I have some program, /path/to/pgog I want to place shortcuts on the desktop and in the KDE4 Start menu .

You just need to put the desktop file in the right place (usually /usr/share/applications) and then run kbuildsycoca4. No XML files need to be edited by hand.
The --menutest option can be useful for debugging.
