Answer the question
In order to leave comments, you need to log in
active directory. How to clear the DNS server from the records of the failed dc?
Hello,
Strongly do not kick everything that is written below, I did not design it, I'm just trying to cope with the consequences of this act:
There is a domain.local domain. Controllers have addresses 192.168.0.2, 192.168.0.8. Another controller 192.168.0.5 has failed and will no longer appear on the network. I didn't clear the DNS records related to 192.168.0.5 Now the file server has taken the address 192.168.0.5. And the following situation turns out: I turn to \\domain.local, I get to the file server, and in the logs there are messages that no group policies were found at the address domain.local\sysvol\domain.local\Policies. It is already obvious to me that I need to delete records containing the address 192.168. While I think that it is necessary to delete record from a zone of direct lookup of domain.local.
"(as top-level folder) Node A 192.168.0.5"
