Access denied for non-existent process?
While this happened right now, I'm telling you what's going on with my computer. Maybe someone else has the same fate...
I work with a browser, fly on the Internet, listen to music, work with my sites. And suddenly the work stops: the browser no longer opens a single page, just an eternal loading. The answer never comes (for example, connection timed out). When the browser closes - alles kaput! Not a single browser, be it a Chromium offspring, don’t be - it just doesn’t start. Of course, I've been trying to kill processes for several times. What we are denied access to. In cmd (everything from the admin), an attempt to kill the /f process forcibly is also unsuccessful, they say, there is no process with the Nth PID, although the task manager shows something else. After such chaotic infrequent problems, Windows is terminated only by the power button. The process is not killed. Iron, browsers are fine. The problem is only in chromium browsers (absolutely any).
According to the event log (last hour):
Event format "Error":
By the way, I also tried to restart the Internet services (DHCP and DNS). The first was ignored, and the second hung with the status (stop)
Well, in fact, the crit itself, which had to be inflicted to record this incident.
The computer works stably, cleanly, updated. There can be no problems, since recently it has been serviced by me, an experienced sysadmin.
PS When I screenshotted the errors, I noticed KMSAuto. It's an activator! My license is activated! And then it dawned on me: maybe KMSAuto is trying to limit the Internet to activate Windows? And then what does this have to do with the Chrome browser? I haven't noticed this with Firefox... In any case, I'll clean Windows of it, but it's not certain that this will solve the problem, although very much so if it happened at the same time as the incident...
Please, Help.

Damn... It seems to me that the above errors have nothing to do with what is happening... I don't even know what to do now in this case. Windu will not change. It's terrible, every time something doesn't work, reinstall. We are not jumping on Linux with a tambourine! ..

The bug is connected with chromium itself, and specifically with only one resolution.
Attention to all potential users - the Yandex.Music extension is buggy!
I noticed this pattern: sound sagging (eaten by an extension that interacts so conveniently with the OS, namely with music control keys), and then a frozen process that is killed, but continues to exist + everything else, non-working Internet and prohibition of other browsers. Delete this extension, and if such an error happened to you, but you still want to listen to music, you need to make a batch file and run it from the admin IMMEDIATELY, as soon as the problem appears, in no case close the browser.
In my case, it was vivaldi.exe.
Thanks for your help, issue closed.
Try launching CrystalDiskInfo and looking at the SMART settings for your hard drive.
there is a suspicion that he is guilty
Either run System Restore or check system files.
And the kms-activator does not prohibit anything, it has a completely different goal. Yes, and you have a problem, obviously not in the browser.
On the penultimate screen, a message about an error in accessing a registry entry for the log, but it doesn’t refer to the topic, everything hangs there.
Use Sysinternals Process Explorer and Autoruns, create reports in them and share.
