About Ubuntu Unity

Greetings. I installed Ubuntu on a netbook (10.10), I like everything, but now I have a way to hide the panel (Unity), i.e. if we say surfing through Firefox is more comfortable for me without it. (Yes, you can bypass full screen mode (but this is not what you need).
Please help :)

Right click on panel -> properties -> show hide buttons. Click on the button that appears and enjoy.

I use Chrome instead of FF.
The screen eats less and in general rotates the web faster.
The panel on the left does not overlap
