About syncing iPhone and Google Contacts

I recently discovered a strange thing:

the iPhone strangely syncs with Google Contacts. When you create a contact on the phone, it does not appear in Google, when you change the information on the phone, it is also not updated in Google, but when you create a contact in Google, it appears on the phone.

Synchronization goes through iTunes, prescribing Google Contacts through MS Exchange does not suit me categorically (many custom number labels). iTunes fresh, from the official site. The glitch is reproduced by a friend on the latest generation iPod Touch.

What is it and where to dig?

@DorBer

And what does "many custom number labels" mean?
I have always used synchronization via MS Exchange record, I have not experienced any problems.

mihavxc , everything goes both ways for me, there are no duplicates, I even tried to synchronize with a blank book on a new iPhone, everything is fine.
wildhedgehog , obviously. This is actually a global problem for all phones: hard-packed groups, tags and labels. I don't know how to fix it :)

The human mind has conquered soulless iron.
Just how, I can't explain. In general, after several successive changes in the synchronization provider in iTunes (like we synchronize with the Windows address book, and with Yahoo, and with nothing), the iPhone SUDDENLY decided to synchronize with Google Contacts. I made a bunch of duplicates that are combined with regular Google tools and synchronized with it again.
Here is a shamanic dance with a tambourine.
