Тестировщик это quality assurance, QA. Engineer же подразумевает под собой решение каких-то задач на равно с кодерам. Test engineer вполне может разрабатывать системы тестирования и иметь требования как у кодера.

Software Developer in Test - Developer in testing. Develops tools, frameworks and other things necessary for testing. In the rest - the most ordinary developer.
QA is a broader concept than testing.
But in general, there are also a lot of positions, including QA Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, QA Analyst, etc. Which, strictly speaking, are also involved in testing, but in general their task is quality control.
