About perspectives in javaee and arm?

A bit of background: 3-4 years of solo development on java se and 5.5 years of USU math-mechanics. I started to study javaee, because you can't go far with se. Along the way, I became interested in ARM controllers.
I’m looking for a future job and at first I didn’t see myself anywhere except in javaee, but now I’m thinking about the possibility of switching to microcontrollers.
If more specifically, then the opinion of the habra community about the development opportunities in these areas in general and employment prospects (preferably in Yekaterinburg) in particular is of interest.
