[Abitura] MESI vs MAI. "Mat. provision and adm. inf. Systems" vs "Software Engineering". What to choose?

Hello! Time for stupid questions again :)
I can't decide on the choice of university, but I don't want to throw a coin.
While studying at school, I wanted to go to a programmer specialty with a bias in mathematics. Unfortunately, the path to Prik. Checkmate is closed to me, so Checkmate is the only option. software available in MESI.
But at the same time, MAI is a technical university, and it’s probably easier for a programmer to study software engineering (I’m afraid that at a university I still have to cram mathematics, which will be very difficult for me).
And MAI is located more conveniently (for me).
In general, I'm looking for advice. Preferably, from students of the above universities :)
PS with "general" recommendations, like: "yes, there is no difference, programming is self-education" please pass by

I study in the direction of "Software Engineering", 4th year. True, not at the Moscow Aviation Institute)
I can say that studying is not very difficult by the 3rd year, basically there will already be subjects in the specialty, mathematics was the largest number in the 2nd year in the 1st semester (5 subjects related to mathematics).
If you go to mat. providing, then mathematics will be with you all the years of study.

Definitely MAI, himself a graduate of MESI, and if you want serious and in-depth knowledge, then this is clearly not the right place. Although, if you wish, you can find knowledge everywhere.
Among the advantages of MESI, the ability to combine with work, plus excellent IT equipment of the institute, around computers, laptops, touch boards, projectors, WiFi, etc.
Well, the building itself is more modern than MAI.
so if you want something simpler then MESI.
